Joe Rohrman, a life-long Hoosier, graduated from IU/Herron School of Art, receiving a BS in Arts and Education (1975) and an MAE (1980).  Joe taught art in public schools in Lebanon (1975-1977), and Franklin Township (1977-2005).

During his post graduate studies, he discovered his passion for ceramic clay sculpting which has been his medium of choice for the more than four decades since. His works, mainly quirky, caricature-styled figures, have been accepted in over one hundred juried exhibitions throughout Indiana and across the US. Joe has won many awards, held solo exhibitions, done commissioned works, and has work in permanent collections of five Indiana art museums.
