My passion for art, creation, and repurposing materials has been a lifelong pursuit, and fostering an inclination for innovative thinking. I find inspiration in the beauty of everyday objects, and unconventional subjects, extracting abstract elements for my artwork.
My inspiration and my feelings for the entry "No Fear" came from an out-of-body OBE experience I had at the birth of one of my children. For years I did not know this was something that happens and no one ever told me of this happening to them. Only recently, I found out that it can be caused by trauma according to the National Institutes of Health. NIH. The experience can be described as a "spirit and birthing world" merging where the person dives deep into a profound, often spiritual state. During this experience I was carried outside of the hospital, still attached by a silver cord, beyond the dark and lights of the city and into what appeared to be outer space. I felt warm, loved and totally calm. It was glorious. I could see all possibilities, choices and paths I could take. I received an undeniable feeling of assurance that all would work out, no matter what came about. I heard my baby cry for the first time and as I turned back to look, I was pulled back into myself by the silver cord. At that moment I had No Fear and I knew, all of me, past, present and future self would remember this always. I'm nearly 69 years old at this writing and it is as vivid today as the day it happened, and even more significant is how it guides my life. Peace!
