Pamela C. Newell has spent her entire life creating and capturing the beauty of nature through impressionist paintings in soft pastels or oils.  She earned her BFA from the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. A Master Gardener with an eye for detail, her work uses rich colors to describe light and form. She enjoys painting both outdoors and from life within her studio.

Holding Signature Membership status across three prestigious national art societies - Oil Painters of America, the American Impressionist Society, and the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society – Pamela is also distinguished as an instructor and Indiana Artisan and has been juried into the Hoosier Art Salon (25 years) and many regional exhibitions. Her work is in the Permanent Collection of Richmond Art Museum and many private and corporate collections.
