Patrick Kluesner is an accomplished fine artist whose background includes oil painting and advertising illustration. His work has earned awards from area competitions including the Hoosier Art Salon, The Richmond Art Museum, Indiana Plein Air Painters, The Indiana State Fair, the Art Associations of Henry County, Madison County, Randolph County and Hancock County and more. He served as President of The Art Association of Madison County and other past affiliations include Indiana Wildlife Artists and The Anderson Museum of Art.

"I’ve developed an affinity for painting Great Blue Herons and enjoyed spending hours observing them in their natural environment and noting their behavior. Another passion, plein air painting especially the wetlands in Anderson IN, has given me great experience for painting the backgrounds seen in many of my Blue Heron paintings. My still life paintings result from my interest in painting in natural light as many of the old masters did, notably the paintings of Johannas Vermeer being sources of inspiration".
