In 2008, I was newly retired from teaching high school art. I moved to Colorado for the winter and joined a pottery studio to learn how to do raku pottery. Since that year, I have stayed with raku and have continued to experiment with new ideas that could be tried and used with the raku technique.  My work continues to focus on one-of-a-kind pieces with new and unique ideas added to explore the creative side of clay pots.
